A Fall Vacation in Seabrook, WA

Travel

I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that it is already November! It’s incredible to realize that Fall is more than halfway over and so is my last Fall quarter of college! But who isn’t stoked for the upcoming holidays?! Before I get into that I wanted to share my all time favorite Fall vacation stop with all of you! Spending the weekend of Halloween at Seabrook has turned into a tradition for my family and I look forward to it every year! Growing up in the Pacific Northwest, I actually love the rain! I also love the beach and when you mix the two together it’s my ideal Fall vacation!

Seabrook is located near Pacific City on the the coast of Washington and it is basically a collection of cottage rentals that make up a small neighborhood, complete with a park, a swimming pool, and a main street filled with shops, restaurants, a gym, and even a self-serve dog wash! If you go during Halloween, like I did, then the entire neighborhood is welcome to participate in trick-or-treating!

This place is filled with rows and rows of beautiful, colorful cottages, all different sizes. Every time I go I love seeing all of the different cottages and filling up my list of ones I’ve stayed at. The cottages are cozy, fully furnished, and they are all extremely close together so if you go with a group of people then your friends are likely to live right down the road…

Down the main street there is a small market that sells various miscellaneous items and they also serve Stumptown coffee. I love Stumptown but I was stoked when Seabrook opened the Red Velvet Bakery, where they serve my personal favorite, Batdorf & Bronson coffee. I didn’t experience very friendly service at the bakery but the pastries and coffee are good.

On the main street you can also find a pub, a pizza restaurant, a candy shop, and much more!

And did I mention it’s all only a 5-minute walk from the beach?
