Christmas Vacation

Fashion Lifestyle

One of my favorite traditions in my family is escaping for a week to a cabin near Mt Hood in Oregon. I love getting out of dodge for awhile to just enjoy sitting by the fire, drinking coffee, eating cinnamon rolls and soup, and not worrying about any responsibilities! It’s the perfect time to recharge before I head back to school this upcoming weekend and also a great way to end the year.

When packing for the cabin I was simply throwing sweater after sweater into a bag. I prefer jeans to leggings (weird, I know) and so I packed a couple pairs of those as well. I also have a wide array of comfy socks that had to come with me! I honestly don’t know which I love more, socks or sweaters. I recently got a new knitted beanie from Levi’s and I wore that whenever we left the cabin, along with a simple side braid because I don’t spend time doing my hair on vacation. This denim jacket is not necessarily my warmest jacket but it is my favorite! And it works for hanging our around the cabin. I have a parka and a snow coat saved for going further up the mountain.
