Last weekend one of my best friends flew to Portland all the way from Chicago to visit me for the week! It was a crazy weekend full of food, coffee, and playing tourist around Portland together. I met Savannah over a year ago in Italy where we shared an apartment and a visual merchandising class together and I was instantly inspired by her sense of style! Savannah graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Fashion Merchandising and she went on to work as a manager at Free People, which was a huge influencer in her personal style. The edginess of her style and her unmatched confidence has inspired me ever since I met her! When I asked her what inspires her personal style she said this:

“I would say my style is very feminine and bold. I love anything that makes me feel womanly, and allows me to show off my free-spirit and sexuality. Alexander McQueen is the designer that has inspired me, as well as my friends who I worked with at Free People. They’ve influenced me and my style a lot, and pretty much encouraged me to be fearless when it comes to showing off and embracing my body through my style.”
