Happy Monday and Happy Holidays! It’s crazy how fast the Holidays are approaching and how I haven’t even done ANY Christmas shopping yet!!!
I constantly have to remind myself not to let the stress of the Holidays get to me so that I can still enjoy this time of year. A great way to do this is by making the time to actually celebrate and enjoy the festivities. This is what Jordan and I did a couple weeks ago, if you recall in my last post.
Taking the time to make Holiday cocktails and do some DIY wreath crafts was the perfect way to escape the stress of the Holidays and actually enjoy them instead.
It was also a great way to forget about how expensive the Holidays can be, considering we didn’t exactly buy our wreath making supplies… We went hiking and foraged for them! In our defense, an entire tree had been cut down so we mostly took branches from there!
For this hike we were blessed with a sunny day, but a very wet forest, so I opted for a cozy sweater, a light jacket, and some rain boots. And a scarf for a pop of color!
This sweater has been my go-to for Fall! I am a huge fan of cropped sweaters so this longer one is a good addition to my wardrobe when I need something extra warm, or rather something that doesn’t expose my midriff to the chilly air when I raise my arms.
With a mixture of nylon and wool, it’s extremely cozy but the nylon keeps it from being stiff. It’s also much less itchy than most of my wool sweaters so that’s a plus! And can we talk about that detail along the bottom? It’s my favorite part!
