I discovered Ayumi Angel when I was working for a local Portland boutique that sold a large collection of local designers. This job was when I found a passion for paying more attention to where designers and brands came from.

I met Ayumi during a content shoot and she was so sweet and wonderful to work with! I was ecstatic about finally owning a pair of her earrings!

My favorite part about her designs? Each piece is made individually by hand and she somehow manages to make enduring pieces that still stick with the latest fashion trends. I also love that she was born and raised in Mexico and traveled to Tokyo to explore her Japanese heritage, and therefore her designs pull from a fusion of the two cultures.

My love for travel has inspired so much of my style because I love seeing aspects from various cultures represented in the clothing and accessories I wear.

The bright gold from these earrings can dress up any outfit and the olive tassels add a small pop of color that stood out next to this black, embroidered blouse that I tucked into some Levi’s 501 shorts.
